are there koolaid drinking right wingers running the show?http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=27826&SPID=2166&DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=244936
I honestly have no earthly idea what you mean by your comment. There's a brief article on LSUsports.net about a t-shirt celebrating the fact that LSU's men's and women's basketball teams have made history this season. There's a pic of a decently-designed shirt saying, well, both teams are champs. It's unoriginal, as it immediately reminded me of Nike's "One Team, One Heart, One Goal: Pasadena" shirts from last football season...but what does an unoriginal design celebrating a great accomplishment have to do with your comment...or the "gay" comment, for that matter? Is an LSU athletic team winnng a championship "gay"? Is is wrong to even mention, let alone celebrate, a women's team that's likely going to make it's third Final Four appearance in three years? I don't get it. No sarcasm here at all.
i agree. i'd love to be able to attend, show my support, and buy/wear one of those tshirts. Anything to support LSU athletics and any of the accomplishments of these kids who give us, the fan, so much enjoyment.
gay as in cheesy... couldnt made a better shirt... with no toonces for that matter... Congrat to the teams, but the shirt is still gahay.
i hate the mission accomplished crap. I think its gay also. now if it had mission accomplished with the toonces thing on the back saying its abolished now you have something. SEC Champs with the year and teams woulda been fine. Maybe even with the players names or the schedule.
The 'right wing' comment was made in reference to the little glory-hounding stunt dubya pulled on the aircraft carrier, which included a 'Mission Accomplished' banner.
this is what i was refering to. i cant believe the people that put the shirt together wasnt aware of it. im sure tons of dems wont wear it just for that, regardless of if they think its "gay" or not.
