Do you think a Frosh will pass Randall this fast?

No - my bet is that we have a highly-publicized race heading into the opener between 2 of the 3. Gut feeling tells me that one of the 3 will eliminate himself from the race for one reason or another be it injury, attitude, etc...

If Randall were as good as Mauck, that would be one thing. But Randall just does not show me a whole lot. He can't read defenses worth a flip, IMO.

I personally think Randall will still be #1 going into Fall. Spring game will be so fun, I hope they play 30 times on cox sports like last year

I am just not ready to count him out yet, he will be 2 years older than the last time he started, maybe he has improved.

I think MR will start like Saban stated.. the question is will the young guys pass him. I think they might get by him.. just like leek at UF one of these guys will step up no worries here. defense will keep us in the game...

i had to vote randall because of how he did not complain at all about PT last year, i remember an article in the beginning of the year last year about how randall had accepted his role as a back up and was gonna do wutever was needed to help the team suceed, MR gained my respect with that, i think with the line the talent at receiver, JV alley addai carey spadoni and edwards, and did i mention THE #1 defense (thats right stoopsy the defense that gives u nightmares not just #1 scoring number 1 overall as was prooved january 4th)
i mean with all the weapons i could suceed playing QB, 3 all sec linemen top 3 receivers in the country comin in, skyler green amp craig davis and bowe all with a year, david jones who will be ALL SEC this year mark it down because the frosh wont make those down field throws and he will get a lot of balls, Zinger, our kentucky derby like stable of thuroughbreds, i mean truly scary, but as talented as those receivers are we lost our miracle man, and our consistent excellent down field blocking receive( claytons blocking will be missed big time) if our WRs develop we could have a mid nintes spurrier type production from our Offense

I like the idea of Addai at receiver. With JV becoming the starter we still need to get Addai on the field somehow. We obviously know he can run, he is pretty strong, you just can't leave him on the sidelines. I know we have a lot of talent coming in, but you never know. Josh Reed started as a running back, as well as Devery....I just think it could make things interesting.

He didn't state that MR would start, he said he was the heir apparent I think but that the job is wide open and as soon as he knows who the starter is he will let everyone know, or that "you guys"( then media) will be the first to know. And that's the way it should be at all positions. Whoever has the "head" for the position is probably going to become the starter and it will be very interesting to see how it works out. The scrimages this spring may be more intense this year as we don't have any QB's coming off of injuries and the coaches will want to see how they react under pressure. I wonder if they will have red jerseys on or if they will go full out live?

The flow of informtion from Saban regarding the QB situation will be a trickle. He doesn't want a controversy, and he knows he has one, and its killing him. He has done everything he can to squash it before it gets rolling down the Dolly Pardon Memorial, err..Indian Mounds.

I am hoping that Russell separates himself during spring camp. He has all the ability in the world. If he can make the most of his snaps in the spring, and separate from Randall and Flynn, he will emerge as the starter. They will all get a fair shake. Let the player that gives us the best chance to win emerge as the starter. Geaux Tigers!!!!
