All you conservative cock suckas are keeping it zipped on this?

Sure, there's no "hard evidence" yet but man there's a lot of smoke coming out the windows for his house to not be on fire.

It's a shame because he's one of few republicans as of late that seems somewhat reasonable and that doesn't have his head completely up his ass. He is the type of politician that the GOP should be lauding, not extremist idiots like Cruz, Perry, Jindal, etc (recent scandal notwithstanding, of course).

I'm going to give the guy the benefit of the doubt for now but the evidence is stacking up fast against him and those closest to him.

It's one of those things where even if he didn't explicitly do it, he had a team of people around him who are really conducting themselves poorly. It's not a total deal killer as far as his candidacy goes for me but it's a major red flag.

Yes it is better to first get elected President before you go after your political enemies.

It may have happened early enough to where it doesn't affect his candidacy. Americans have pretty short memories.

I am concerned that if he abused his power at the gov. level, how would he handle being the most powerful man in the world?

It is kinda disappointing because he does seem to be pretty level headed. He knows that distancing himself from the Tea Party is a must.

Even if I found out that he orchestrated Bridgegate and was the mastermind behind it, I'd still prefer him over Cruz, Perry, etc.

I agree. with a lack of a better alternative, moderate republicans will probably have no choice but to overlook this. On some level, I think this kind of stuff goes on all the time. It's just disheartening when it makes it to the light of day.
