    6. Edward Paris, S, Mansfield TX, 6'1", 200 lbs (Rivals #41)
    7. Tony Upchurch, TE/WR, Pearland TX, 6'2" 220 lbs (NR)
    8. Garrett Brumfield, OL, Baton Rouge LA, 6'4" 285 lbs (Rivals #91)
    9. DJ Chark, ATH, Alexandria LA, 6'1" 175 lbs (NR)
    10. Deondre Clark, DE, Oklahoma City, OK, 6'3" 231 lbs (Rivals #54)

    14. Brandon Harris, QB, Bossier City LA, 6'3" 190 lbs (Rivals #186)

LSU's likely next 14 (in order of likelihood)

    WR Malachi Dupre (Rivals #58)
    OLB Clifton Garrett (Rivals #55)
    WR Trey Quinn (Rivals #104)
    MLB Kenny Young (Rivals #199)
    CB Tony Brown (Rivals #14)
    S Hootie Jones (Rivals #26)
    DE Gerald Willis (Rivals #44)
    DE Davon Godchaux (Rivals #151)
    WR Saeed Blacknall (Rivals #109)
    RB Leonard Fournette (Rivals #3)
    DT Garrald McDowell (NR)
    WR Speedy Noil (Rivals #75)
WR D'haquille Williams (Rivals JUCO #1)
    OL Cameron Robinson (Rivals #8)

Base on rivals rankings, I think LSU finishes up with 19 kids in the top 250, four 5 star recruits (Jones, Brown, Fournette and somebody in the top 60 gets a boost to a 5th star). I look for Upchurch, Battle and McDowell to get a 4th star down the line and 2 of the 3 to break the rivals 250, leaving LSU with twenty 4 star recruits. If all of this happens, LSU will challenge Alabama's record from 2013 for all time Rivals point total. Getting Cameron Robinson would put it over the top and certainly break that record. I do not figure him to be in this class, he would be icing on the cake.

I looked on 247 composite rankings and we have a great shot at Numbers 1, 3, 10, 15, 32, 35, and 37. That's pretty amazing. I mean, which of those guys do we not get?

I read somewhere that LSU could conceivably sign 8 5* recruits in this 2014 class.

I wonder what the addition of dhaquille does for a guy like Trey Quinn. We're still after Speedy Noil and Malachi Dupre. Is it conceivable we would take 4 receivers in this class?

If I read the story right, D'haquille Williams has committed for the 2014 class, so shouldn't he be listed among our 2014 committments?

From what I've read, and provided he makes the grades, he will enroll in January 2014 and be eligible to play the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

Don't see why not. Every team needs to carry 6-8 receivers anyway. Boone and Wright will be gone next year. Possibly Landry and Beckham as well if they decide to go early. If D'haquille does what everyone thinks he's going to do and go gangbusters as soon as he hits the field we'll only have a year out of him anyway. Still plenty of opportunity for Trey Quinn to be a star within his first couple of years since he probably won't need a redshirt.

although a 2015 recruit, it gives you an idea of what the mail LSU sends out to recruits looks like

this is a pic of the mail received today by Alabama commitment 2015 DE Mekhi Brown (his high school is 40 miles east of Auburn)
