His phone call to Bush on his birthday today then buzzing the coast of California with two long range Russian bombers.

Vladimir hates America but it's like he's trying to make a point. Or maybe he's just racist.

I would say all 3 points are right. 1) Putin hates America and the west. He has longed for the old Soviet Union and makes no bones about it. 2) Russians are one of the most racist and xenophobic people in the world. No doubt in my mind Putin is more racist that LSU MasterMind believes all who disagree with him or dislike BHO are. 3) He is making a point that he has no respect for the president.

Fuck Putin. Obama needs to do what Genghis Khan did. Fuck diplomacy and kill whoever you can...

But really...we are who we are. We have a very modern and accepting society (as far as east-west goes). We cannot spread it. We have to conquer the opposition or there will always be this struggle. Since we are very modern and accepting that will not happen.

This is the cycle of human history. We show these fuckers freedom and choice and they can't live without oppressive structure.

You know, this idea that everyone wants or needs freedom is false. Some people are better off being ruled.

In some ways I think of it like the military. Before I joined I was a turd. The military really straightened me out. I do think that even some Americans are suffering because of all the freedom they have to be stupid.

Democracy operates on a short (historically speaking ) timeline. Always has been, always will be. Sooner or later too many ask what their country can do for them, rather than ask what they can do for their country. We are witnessing that right now...welfare, cell phone, amnsesty for illigal aliens, the whole nine yards. This country will not last another 100 and probably not 50 more years.

A strong ruler (ok, a dictator) like Putin is what we need. Hopefully, he or she will make the correct MANDATES and things get on down the road. Otherwise the rot in Washington will continue, though not for long. There are HUGE advantageous of having one voice at the top!

Bullshit. This country has weathered a civil war, The Great Depression, a World War, a Cold War, and far worse social problems.

Amigo, you are having one of those flashbacks they warned us about . . .

He desperately trying to regain the Superpower image but it is futile. Russia is almost broke, their population is restless and poor, their military is rusting. Hell, those two Bear bombers are older than I am!

Red, we need to chart a course, the right course, and stick with it. With Congress and the huge split in the American people, the best we will get from here in is the least common denominator...the watered down law that was least offensive to both sides. Not how you run a railroad, or a country. Politicians have replaced leaders, the fall is inevitable. Don't get me wrong, I am sick about it, but I see where we are headed with blinding clarity!

Blinding clarity is mutually exclusive, my friend. I am quite sure that you are one or the other. As you might expect, I'm in the pragmatic middle. Pessimists bemoan a glass half empty. Optimists hail a glass half full. Pragmatists just keep an eye on the water level and deal with it.

This bipartisan gridlock cannot endure. The silver lining is that it may be finally forcing more parties into the picture. The Tea Party will be standing alone soon with the Libertarians and other conservative fringe parties. The small liberal parties like the Greens and Naders are ask staying in the fringe. There has never been a better opportunity for a moderate third party to emerge. Lots of people would vote for a serious candidate that says he's taking no money and no orders from the Republicans or Democrats.

As harsh as that statement may sound on the surface, I agree. Some people are born to follow. Recognizing such personalities is critical in building "teams" in the workplace. Take a school, for example. Say the school's configuration is K hru 4th and you have 4 teachers who teach each grade. In assigning teachers you need to mix up the "movers and shakers." Not only could the Type A's kill one another but each group needs someone (or two, maybe) to be the "hunter and gatherer" so-to-speak.

Generally speaking- serving two years, right out of high school, yes. Beyond that the military can do just as much to screw people up as well as straighten them up- just by nature of the things inherent to being in the military.

And I say that only based on what I see/read about PTSD, etc. Don't know anyone, personally, who suffers from this. At least not that I know of. I know people are good at burying such things deep to where they may go unnoticed.
