1. I Of The Tygrr:

    I think I heard the same interview you did, but I'm thinking the phrase he used was "we want to build a legacy here." More or less the same meaning I guess, but maybe a little less bold than dynasty.
  2. I've never heard him say dynasty, that's way overboard for him.
  3. I think the more important question is when Emmert leaves b/c that would definitely change things.

    Emmert did have a situation where he almost left for South Carolina two years ago. That's when he got the much-discussed pay raise.
  4. this is starting to be a side subject, but Emmert also interviewed at Florida just this past year.
  5. I believe that was Jenkins, wasn't it?
  6. That was Jenkins. He interviewed and didn't get the job.

    Jenkins was also supposed to go to Vermont or Delaware or something a few years back.
  7. I believe he's achieved building a dominant program. I think he now wants to have a long-standing dominant program. I think he's gonna milk it for all it's worth. I think when the program starts to show hints of a downfall, he'll bolt for the nfl.
  8. further off the subject... but my bad on the cross up btw Emmert & Jenkins. now help me get this straight, please...

    Emmert=Chancellor=Top Dog, right?
    Jenkins=President , what does that entail?
  9. News fast forward. headlines.

    Coach Nick Saban long time coach of the 8 time National Champion LSU tigers retired today after passing records thought to be untouchable by former Bama Coach Bear Bryant.......[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug:
