  1. The truth is the truth.
    We love lsu.
    We love to win
    that's what we do.
We have bad years sometimes when we only win 10 games. It happens. Not this year though.
I do remember the bad years though. The archer and hallman years. I hope those are over forever.
As long as Miles is here, lsu will be a winning program. When he goes, we will buy us a new winning coach. LSU forever.
  2. Yep, I can see that...Oregon fans are just as passionate, hear me out.

I'm still circling you guys, trying to figure things out.

What I've learned so far is this. If you took my closest 20 relatives and asked. 5 would say they are Duck fans, with one black-sheep beaver fan.

So, only 30% of my family are football fans, but the 6 of us are intense, we care a lot. The rest would say they don't care at all.

I'm thinking your family % would be much higher.

We are building our traditions now.
  3. In my family, if you wasn't a true purple blood tiger fan you wouldn't be invited to the Christmas party, you would be completely disowned and left out the will.
To my dad, if you're not a tiger fan he doesn't want you in his house.
My grandmother will throw you out of her house if you block the tv and she misses a play. She's 79 years old. She asked me to come over and get her generator ready and extension cord ready incase the electricity goes out when the storm comes. Our babies in this family come home from the hospital in tiger baby clothes. We don't even plan funerals on gameday.
  4. Mr. Williams we might be related.
  5. Eugene is really caught up in football, intoxicated by it, as are all Duck fans. Oregon has sold out every game for, I think, 12 years.

UofO, OSU campuses are only 35 miles apart.

Beaver fans? They are good fans, but now there are far more Ducks.
They can't fill their 45k stadium.

Washington Huskie fans are great, (their bloggers are purple spewing trolls), but dawg fans are good, fun loving North Westerners. The Huskies have been bad, 3 years ago winless, so enthusiasm had diminished. With a winning team, UW fans outnumber Ducks, substantially. Seattle is huge, they can really support their team.

I love the story about your Grandmother, she has the proper spirit,...and, better safe than sorry.

    Go Ducks
  6. Football and supporting the tigers are bred into us. We support our saints too. We're no diffrent than most other sec schools when it comes to supporting our team. We do love our football.
  7. Sadly, (or maybe proudly...) I'm a self-made Tiger fan. My fam is just not into sports at all...think it's a waste of TV time when something better could be on.

Sigh...but I still have to claim them.

I can tell you this, though...MY babies are Tiger Fans BEFORE BIRTH!
  8. I'm not from Louisiana, and my family is all kinds of confused. Mom went to Alabama, dad went to Georgia, brother went to Auburn. All football fans, though. Makes Thanksgiving interesting.
  9. Sec all the way. Still family!
  10. Besides Kirk Herbstreit & Craig James, this has to be the MOST annoying thing about college football. And it happens every day and everywhere. Most people don’t know anything about college football other than what they watch on sportscenter.

Oregon fans don’t get offended: But......

Oregon spent about 90% of their season last year beating up and running up the score against a bunch of pansies - That is a fact. They finished 12-1 - That is a fact. LSU played 7 ranked teams, played tough gird iron games week in and week out winning some by the skin of their teeth and finished 11-2 - That is a fact. We are talking a 1 game difference here.

But all these voters and all these ignorant so-called fans of college football take absolutely none of that into consideration. They just see these highlights of 80 touchdowns and all this Oregon speed hype that doesn’t mean what they think it does when these two teams face off on Saturday.

When I asked a co-worker why, when he told me this morning that LSU was going to get their ass kicked tomorrow, he replied "UH, HELLO, Did you watch Oregon Last Year?" – I said “Scott, remind me, what is Oregon’s Quarterbacks name?” He has absolutely NO IDEA what the starting QB's name is for Oregon let alone that damn near half that team from last year, isn’t even back on the field this year. He just knows what he saw on ESPN

It is just pure ignorance, and it drives me insane!

And where do they get this garbage from, people like Craig James - He is an absolute moron, and has no business discussing football.

Last night, I am sitting there watching the Wisconsin game, and after Ball's 3rd touchdown, Craig James is about to wet himself over how excited he is about this Wisconsin offensive line. He makes a retarded ass comment saying he doesn’t think ANYBODY in the country can stop Wisconsin from running the ball on them, even with 8,9 in the box and right down their throat! He also said that Wisconsin has been this powerful running the ball for multiple years. Well given the fact that Wisconsin has NEVER won a National Championship, I’d say that someone obviously knows how to stop them. Right Craig?

Also as he is raving about this O-Line, he says "Well given tonight’s performance, I’d say this O-Line gets an A+" - Without missing a beat, my boy Jesse Palmer jumps in "Well, you also have to remember they are playing at home against a young UNLV team who has a combined 16 starts between the players"

Its people like Craig James that give these ignorant ass so-called college football fans an opinion and its annoying as hell

    Back to you Tom
