Thought Tiger fans might like to see the Eugene Register Guard's blog, prediction thread. As I post this, I havn't read the predictions, usually Duck fans are lopsided homers. We Love our Ducks.

article by Rob Mosely, Eugene Register Guard

Anybody out there ready for some football?
I doubt my personal level of anticipation matches many of yours, but man, I'm looking forward to watching a game, and watching THIS game in particular, and seeing what this Oregon team will do after nine months of conjecture and analysis (and, um, other stuff ...).
A couple of months ago, I was dead set on picking LSU this week. My primary thinking was that Oregon's tempo, perhaps its greatest asset against teams with at least as much talent, wouldn't be a big help in this one; the Ducks need a couple of games to get into rhythm and run at peak efficiency, and to start going up against opponents who are beginning to wear down over the course of a season, when Oregon's depth and tempo become more decisive. (Picking Stanford to beat the Ducks in November, is, in my opinion, really short-sighted. The physical Cardinal will be all kinds of beat up by then, while Oregon, if the last couple years are any indication, will not.)
But all the recent distractions for the Tigers, I think, will be just too much. Yes, Oregon has had its fair share, but they're farther in the rearview mirror, and the Ducks have quite a history of overcoming such distractions. LSU's late quarterback change, and the general upheaval of the last couple weeks, will be just enough to tip things Oregon's way.
I'm figuring a close game at halftime as the teams spin their wheels a little trying to get going. LSU pounds away at the inexperienced interior of Oregon's defense, while the Ducks attack the edges with their speed, and it's 10-10 or so at halftime. The pace will pick up a bit after halftime, just a little more so in Oregon's case, and the Ducks pull it out.
Prediction: Oregon 28 (yes, that's two field goals and a two-point conversion), LSU 23

What a laugher, that one dude has Oregon picked to win by 2 touchdowns, and then goes on to talk about how worried he is :insane:

They are not just predicting wins, they are predicting blowouts. Do they know nothing about LSU at all?

    Nail on the head.

Talk about wishful thinking. Alot of the predictions show the quacks putting 40+ points on LSU. Yeah ok. Ducks may (and I stress may) win but neither team will score over 40 points.

If the Ducks hang 40+ the Tigers didnt show up mentally, and it will show. It will be due to Tiger mistakes, NOT Duck domination

There will be some butt hurt crying mudda quackers after this game.
They will be power smoking in duckville to ease the pain after this game.
The best the ducks could do after losing is the rose bowl and the tigers could lose and still make the big dance.

Did this guy really just post his prediction as UO 28, LSU 23 and then go on to say the difference is 2 fields goals + a 2point conversion :insane:

Someone needs to explain this advanced math to me.

If Oregon scores 40, it will be because the Tigers were locked in the locker room and Chip Kelly hid the keys...

The only way they whip us like that is if we turn the ball over a bunch.

Otherwise, they haven't been paying attention.

Coach does a pretty good job of getting his team ready to play, especially in big games.

Well, I’ve got things to do, and people to see. No more time to post or respond.

Hope nobody gets hurt tomorrow, and both teams play great.

Go Tigers, but mostly, Go Ducks!
