I'm starting to agree. The Cowboys look to be just a little bit better than the Sooners overall. And they might have been able to beat Mobilehoma even without the injuries.

I'd rather face Stanford in the BCSCG. But we might not get a choice. Assuming, of course, that we can get past our remaining SEC games. Arkansas and Georgia don't look to be pushovers.

Ga is beating the piss out of auburn. I was hopeing au would beat ga and have some momentum going into the ironbowl, pulling off the upset win. I hate to ever pull for auburn but it would help lsu by knocking bama out of the sec championship picture should we lose.

Arkansas? No. UGA?? Don't let their record and their display tonight fool you.

UGA has played 2 ranked opponents and lost BOTH pretty conviencingly (face it, Auburn is ranked 20th but that is LARGELY due to being the defending champion....they've been terrible since week 1 vs Utah St. and have no business being ranked).

Georgia has ripped off 8-straight, sure, but tell me, WHO in those 8 wins scare you??

    Sat, Sept 3 vs#5 Boise State L35-21 0-1 (0-0)
    Sat, Sept 10 vs#12 South Carolina L45-42 0-2 (0-1)
    Sat, Sept 17 vsCoastal Carolina W59-0 1-2 (0-1)
    Sat, Sept 24 @Ole Miss W27-13 2-2 (1-1)
    Sat, Oct 1 vsMississippi State W24-10 3-2 (2-1)
    Sat, Oct 8 @Tennessee W20-12 4-2 (3-1)
    Sat, Oct 15 @Vanderbilt W33-28 5-2 (4-1)
    Sat, Oct 29 vsFlorida* W24-20 6-2 (5-1)
    Sat, Nov 5 vsNew Mexico State W63-16 7-2 (5-1)
Sat, Nov 12 vs#20 Auburn 38-7 4th Qtr CBS Tickets
Sat, Nov 19 vsKentucky 12:00 PM ET SEC Network Tickets
Sat, Nov 26 @#21 Georgia Tech TBD

They took Coastal Carolina and NMSU to the woodshed. Wooptie-freakin'-doo.

They only won by 8 vs Tenn
4 over Florida (and the Gators are 5-4 this season)
    5 over VANDY

Sorry...UGA is no more a "pushover" than any other team in the SEC but I fear them no more than I do Florida or South Carolina... Are they CAPABLE of pulling off the upset over us? Sure. But if we played 10 times, we'd win 9.5

UGA didn't have to play Arkansas. Didn't have to play Bama. Don't have to play us in the regular season and their OOC schedule is about as SOFT as you CAN get in an attempt to save a coach's skin.

They get Kentucky next week and the ever-so-average GT to close out the season.

The ONLY "test" UGA gave themselves backfired in their faces when they gave credence to Boise St (which pisses me off) by thinking they could get past the Broncos which have been given a top 10 ranking every year for the past decade it seems just because they snuck up on teams that frankly, were not "excited" to be playing BSU in a bowl game.

I'm feeling the same way, too. I'd prefer OU to win but unless TT really isn't that good and OU is better than we perceive I think Oklahoma State has a very good chance.

OU will still win. Just like how arkansas likes to play LSU close OSU likes to lose to OU, even if OU is the inferior team. It's been a while since I've checked, but I believe Bedlam is the most one sided rivalry in college football.

What's up with that, brother? I wish the best I the SEC to publicly dismantle the "best of the rest" in college football. God forbid LSU stumbles I'll pull for the Tide to beat the brakes off of whomever they face. Same with EVERY OTHER SEC Team in out of conference play. Kinda like six brothers and five cousins fighting. They pound each other silly. Always. But cross THEM and its your skin draped across the fence, ya know?

I think it will be close, but OU has lost too much firepower on offense. I know i'll be cheering on Ok State hard. I'd rather not play Bama again.
