I think one loss Big 12 Champ or one loss ACC champ deserves a shot. Not a one loss team who didn't even play in their conference championship.

If we say LSU and Bama are the 2 best teams, then why even wait? Why even play Arky and UGA?

So even if we lose one to either Arky or UGA we are still a top 2 team and still get to go to the BCS Title game??

That's the basis of putting Bama there.

Matter fact, LSU losing should hurt Bamas chances. You have a 12-1 LSU and a 11-1 Bama, LSU BEAT Bama at Bama, LSU should get the nod. Why the hell not??

If we beat Arky, OKST or Va Tech will be 3, and a big win on conference weekend will sling shot them past Bama. Even if LSU loses to UGA, you have to bump Bama to 3 and LSU to 2

This could get really crazy, oh and this is all ASSUMING Bama can get past the barn

Won't need to. The voters HATE the SEC, you know that as much as I do. And as much as the SEC wants a rematch is as much as the rest of the nation doesn't! They will throw effing fits if there is a rematch. Either way, whether it's 13-0 LSU vs. 11-1 Bama or it's 12-1 LSU vs. 11-1 Bama.

As long as there is two other BCS teams at 12-1 and 11-1 who won their BCS conference title, the rest of the country will be throwing fits'

Is it putting the best 2 teams in the title game? No. But if LSU is to drop one of the next 2 and miss their chance, you won't be putting one of the best 2 teams in there either, so be it

This. They have the best resume of anybody but us, now that OU has lost again.

That said, it's most likely gonna be Bama if we both win out. I am not afraid to play Bama again, but I don't think it's right. LSUs reward for beating them at their place is that they have to play an extra game to 'earn' the right to play Bama again. That's crazy.

I think though, had Oregon, OSU, and OU not all lost this weekend, and LSU and Bama won out, Bama would've been playing in NOLA a week earlier. Now, there's ALMOST no choice but to have them play in the BCSNCG.

However, if Okie State beats Oklahoma, they will do even better in the computer polls (Auburn < Oklahoma). If I'm a human pollster, this gives me a reasonable argument that Okie State belongs in the game more than Alabama.

What would you say to the following question:

How do the computers compute the factor of one team playing an extra game.

The extra game is usually at the end of a tough season, and against a ranked opponent. Just playing an extra game against anybody makes the schedule much more difficult. I could see a bad program assuming all teams play the same amount of games.

I am just think too much hate for the SEC for the voters to put 2 SEC teams in there. Especially if OKST is 11-1 Big 12 Champ, and Va Tech is 12-1 ACC Champ. December 3rd will really hurt Bama.

Let's say we lose to Arky, Bama goes and beats UGA and wins the title. Do we get a rematch against Bama? No! And Bama won't want one!
