It's more like the reign of a empire that narrowly escapes the clutches of defeat, and if not for boneheaded moves from opposing clans, would have ended awhile ago.
It is what it is......congrats to Bama, I cant fault them for anything.....they went 11-1 with the schedule they were dealt, won a sec championship game.....which clearly Georgia Blew, but the irish were who they were handed in the NC game and they dismatled them! Nick Saban....as much as I hate to say it ...IS the best coach in the country, as long as he's at bama they will be a force to be reconed with. Someone that I know who knows nick well says that he wants to coach for 5 more years at bama then retire. My biggest issue with bama is that we have the athletes to match bama...just not the coaching!!
Dynasty....I suppose. But i'd be more comfortable about throwing that word around if Bama didn't back into the last 2 championship games.
Who hasn't "backed" into the championship game? They lost 1 game this year....we lost one in 03 and two in 07.....does that mean we "backed" in then? In my opinion it is just the way the season fell.
True. Last year was egregious, given they got another shot at us. I see what you are saying, but when you lose a game late in your season, you lose control of your own destiny.
