Ahhhhh. Why would anyone hire him again?

 

Well the last 2 seasons he coached as a defensive coordinator he hasn't lost a game. Auburn and I think he was the 05 longhorns DC.

04 Auburn went undefeated with him as the DC
05 Texas went undefeated with him as DC

 

There is a precident for that. When Sean Payton wanted to hire Greg Williams as DC he chipped in $250,000 of his own salary to sweeten the pot. What Chavis is being offered is the same money he has already been getting. Now with Muschump getting $1.6 Million the ceiling has been raised again. LSU needs to pony up and keep up with the Joneses. Look, the extra money won't make any difference in Chavis's lifestyle but it would show him the respect that he is due.

 

You're damn right someone needs to pony up. If Chavis leaves I'm moving to the minion side.
