Wasn't real pretty, but a W none the less. Tigers 70 Gators 63. Martin had a great game w/28 points & 13 boards.
I've seen a couple of bracket projections that have us as a #9 seed. Do you think we need to run the table or can we make the field with 1 L?
I find the pulse of this board regarding this years basketball team to be different than what I read and hear from outsiders. The respect and expectations are different. I don't know what's right, whether folks here are over aware and over critical, or whether others aren't seeing enough of the details. Personally, I am very pleased overall with a 19-8 record and to be in the hunt for the NCAAs. I don't think they need to run the table, but probably need about 3 more wins total.
It looks like we're on the bottom of the bubble, outside looking in if we don't win out, particularly the low RPI games. Combined with a quick exit in the SECT, not sure what postseason looks like. We may be able to weather a loss to Arky or Ole Missy, just hope we don't lose more than one and don't get bounced early from SECT.
What's your opinion of Jones as a game day coach? Strategy, making in game adjustments, motivating players, use or non use of timeouts, etc?
