One of the people interviewed on CNN said that the Secret Service protects ex-Presidents and since Bill also has an email address on the server, it would have been their responsibility to secure it. Hillary's quote was kind of ambiguous. “Well, the system we used was set up for President Clinton’s office. And it had numerous safeguards. It was on property guarded by the Secret Service. And there were no security breaches.” I would assume that a server set up for the President would be secured by the Secret Service, if not set up by their own IT people.
While you beat the crap out of me on some things, I never thought you assumed things. The Secret Service is not in the IT business and actually has some serious issues going on right now, including today's wreck news. I have a problem with any Govt. official that hides their work. Put them all in jail if they don't adhere to OPSEC or any rule they are bound by which was the level I was held to. Shane and others know exactly what I am talking about.

Everybody assumes things. But when I speculate, I endeavor to say so. Any organization with more than 10 computers has an IT guy. The Secret Service has a Technical Division and employs a number of IT technicians and administrators. Better?
i doubt she would have been allowed to have two sim cards or even put a gmail app on her bb. i know i can't put one on my gov samsung for security reasons. i don't get how the sos doesn't have s and ts email too. i haven't even heard that mentioned.
