Tiger420 Sell crazy someplace else, all stocked up here.

If the University is willing to pony up a small country's GDP to get rid of Miles but is going to turn around and try to go cheap on the other solution then they should just contact the NCAA and let them know that we aren't playing football in 2016. The next moves are going to be very telling. If they elected to keep Miles then they should make every effort possible to support him. Period.

I agree, but I don't think he will leave for an OC gig, when all he has to do is keep doing what he is doing for another season and someone is going to give him a HC job at a big time program. Heck, he was one of the guys I was hoping we would target if we fired Les.

They were a bounce away from the national title three years ago. They've had a number of quarterbacks who developed extremely well, which is the main thing we're lacking. The exception is Mett, but remember where he started?

Yeah I think part of the point to the whole "we'll talk about it after the season" was to give Les a wake-up call. I don't buy that Les has been standing on the neck of the offense in the first place though.

We didn't throw 51 times against ole miss because les won't let us throw.

No, but we weren't successful because Les doesn't understand how to throw. He doesn't understand playcalling, offensive flow or deception. Miles doesn't understand offense. He has that typical leather helmet days offensive lineman mentality of just fire off the ball and hit somebody. After that he really doesn’t know what to do.

For two years our QB was accustomed to throwing 15 times a game. One night they had to throw over fifty so now we say Les airs it out?

we need to hire a quarterback guru and just throw the title of OC along with his duties, knowing his only duty will be to develop a damn quarterback. we've seen the same offense the last 11 years. i don't see it changing until it does. as someone else said, hiring an OC at LSU under CLM is the same as career suicide.

Ugh. Maybe that'll do good for them. Conservative hiring practices... Bunch of chicken shits.

The university wasn't willing to pony up money.
