He got his college career off to a sputtering start but JaMarcus Russell got better and better when the chips were down. I can't wait to watch him when he has a few more games under his belt.

He's got a ways to go with those nervous touch passes, but at the same time, who could have expected a freshman QB with no experience to save the game and maybe the season.

    What a job.

Marcus Randall is a TOTAL class act. He is a total team player.

JR seems to have STAR written all over him, to me! I realize its just one half, but WHAT A HALF!

He has the arm, but he impressed me with his vision and ability to see the field and find his receivers. He made Bowe look awesome.

Some of those incompletes were good passes. Overall, his accuracy still needs much work. I don't feel comfortable with either of them but would prefer Russell. Has Flynn falling off the radar.

Not by a long shot. Flynn came to compete and we will hear from him. Don't dismiss Randall either; when Russell cramped up, he came off the bench and scored the go-ahead touchdown.

Some people think the question at QB has been answered. It hasn't for me. Russell impressed me a lot tonight. He also showed me that he has a long way to go. And there are some game situations where there is no substitute for the experience of a 5th year senior.

Perhaps we'll be going with a two-quarterback system? I'm not sure. I guess we'll find out the answer soon enough.

That 5th year senior really did alot tonight!
If it wasn't for JM we would've lost this game.

I don't understand some of you, Marcus did absolutely 0 in this game.

Randall's performance was dismal but he did come up big in OT. I am still anxious to see Flynn in action.

Enough already you Randall people! He is a good guy and a team player but he is not a good quarterback. I don't care if he is a ten year senior. Russell looked alot better in his first game as a freshman than the 5th year senior. Russell has the intangibles that Mauck and Davey had that lead to victories. It is time to cut bait before we actually lose a game because of this. Hopefully, Saban will declare Russell the starter on Monday and we can move on.
