    Give me some names you would have hired after failing on Herman? Reasonable names, as someone like Petersen is not even a consideration.

    I don't think Petersen was coming, but I agree, he should have been contacted. As mentioned, I think James Franklin should have been considered as well.

    Are you seriously stretching that thin? James Franklin Loses to OSU and he might have been fired... Penn State fans were calling for his head at the start of the year... If you think He is better option than ED O I don't even have words lol.

    I don't think it really mattered who LSU got. Nothing is going to change as long as Saban is at Bama.

    Shouldn't you be on a UM forum?

    I'm just saying, it's clear Alleva and the boosters didn't want O. As for Franklin, he did beat OSU and has a dying program just outside the playoffs.
