Well he earned his bonus for making it to the NC game which was promised to him if he took the right job that wouldn't piss off Saban. I doubt Kiffin say this coming and a big FU from Saban on his way out. Love it
I'm aware. I remember that Saban fella when he coached here at one point. He doesn't get much press but I'm aware he builds his teams around defense. Or so that's the rumor.
Clemson has a defense to play with Bama, at least they looked good against tOSU, but as always I will not concede until someone beats them. Every time I think someone has them that little worm slips out with the win.
Watson better protect the football better than he has this season. As for the Tide, hopefully O is getting all the information he can from his buddy. I seem to recall Florida getting information from Alabama on LSU.
I'm thinking about changing my pick in the Bowl pick'em, I know tOSU is no Bama... but I think Clemson's offense matches up well against the gump defense and will be able to put some points on the board. But I the biggest plus is I think Clemson's defense matches up well against the gump mediocre offense.
Actually, I think Lane planned it to perfection. Call a crappy game that will still get them to the NC, make crappy comments to the national media about Saban, generally act like an undisciplined flake. He's not stupid. I think he was ready to start his new gig full time and standing on the sideline for the NC would do nothing but take time away from that.
