I now live in Cary, NC, a suburb of Raleigh. We moved here from Lakeview after Katrina. Spent 4 years at Ft. Hood as a pediatrician prior to that. Moved back to N.O. in 2003, practiced at Ochsner, and evacuated for Ivan, and Katrina, and then Rita hit, too. Home flooded, had a young child, and decided to cut our losses and move to NC. Love it here. No regrets, but still nostalgic for NO and LSU. Visit 1-2 times a year typically.
