LSU had their chance with 1:14 left on the clock. They drove and a young QB under pressure threw behind a young reciever. The pass hit off of recievers elbow and their was a pick. We had a chance to drive a score a fg but we didn't execute. I feel sick to my stomach and hating losing as much as the next guy, but there is nothing we can do about it now. Swallow this big pill, dust yourself off... we still have an entire season of SEC football and anything can happen. I just know that I am pulling for Bama in the Iron Bowl, and UGA in the Aub v. Uga game now. If we win out, we still need Auburn to lose two, because they own the tie breaker in the West now. We could win out the rest of the season and still not go to Atlanta. The Tigers will get better as the season progresses. We always have an unexpected loss, now that they got it out of their system (early), and have dropped us probably out of the top 10. We can concentrate on playing football and not about the media and the rankings.

LSU had their chance all game long especially on offense. No call by the refs and not even a blown xtra point lost the game it was a lack of execution all game long that doomed the real Tigers today.

It should not have come down to a last drive with the way our defense kept stepping up big. Shuffling QBs (and therefore, shuffling gameplans) don't work. Pick one, and stick with him. Now, Saban may pick Randall, because he is stubborn, but at least Randall will get the full chance to fail once-and-for-all, so we can be rid of him.

pretty harsh with "so we can be rid of him" But I do agree, LSU needs to stick to one QB and it should be Russell... he may throw the wrong WR or wrong side but at least he is not scared to throw the ball

Well said! Rally 'round the outcome of this game. Print out the articles and post them up on the team bulletin board to remind them.

Top-ranked programs lose games. Even those "media darling" teams like Michigan lose games (see last week vs ND) and Texas, but bounce back. That's how you get to be a media darling--by bouncing back and reclaiming your swagger.

Quietly, we had the nations 3rd longest winning streak. It ended today. Time to start a new winning streak.

I agree, especially when it comes down to the passing game. There were quite a few passes off target, that if thrown a little better, could have been completions and it really would have changed the game.

It was nice to see Broussard come out and show his stuff.

Oh well, bring on the dawgs!!
