I am really starting to feel bad for Florida...these guys get screwed more by the refs than any other team, specifically the last few years.

The FSU fiasco last year was the worst I've ever seen. I think UF should've won that game by about 21 points.

A flag get's thrown either way due to offsetting penalties but it changes the yardage situation for the Vols. Pretty cool way to get a free timeout. It changes the yardage for the vols but who knows what changes they make in play calling and the Gators appeared to let them have the yardage with no pass interfenance and say you are goona have to catch and kick as oppossed to me playing tight defense and giving up a TD.

A cheap call but plenty of variables left out there.

don't you guys watch any football? It's always the retaliator that gets nabbed - always. it's almost a lesson in self-restraint. the officials watch the action and observe whether the player that was illegally hit will retaliate. if he doesn't, the flagged call goes against the protagonist. as unfair as it is, it's always been that way. unfortnately, it's subjective and not subject to some BS rule like the one ronnie prude and the tigers got shafted on.

btw - there was an atricle on espn insider about the officals determinign the outcome of the LSU and Tenn games. as it is a pay service and I am not a subscriber, can anyone who is a subscriber post the body of the article here? thanks.

Many SEC teams that were playing at home this weekend had the game practically handed to them on bunk calls- Ole Miss, Tenn. and Auburn.

The only team playing at home that couldn't seem to get any calls in their favor was MSU-

It's really sad when refs can decide the game. It's been going on in the NFL for years and is becoming much more common place in college football.

My issue with that is that the referee saw the first one too and did nothing to either try to break them up or throw the flag on him. I don't see how you could be staring straight at that scene and only throw a flag on the Florida guy.
