...To see Saban coach the Tigers in the bowl game? I'm sure Saban would do his best to win the game and go out in style, but I would like to see us make the break now. Of course, that brings up the question, "Who would be HC?"

A win with an interim HC would show that LSU is on our way. A poor showing with an interim HC would really hurt, even more than a poor showing with Saban as HC.

No matter what, I'll be pulling for the Tigers!

Any ideas who could be an interim HC or is it possible in such short notice?

This sure does not help the players for the game. I sure hope that they "show" him what he will be missing and not use him leaving as an excuse if they lose the game. I am pulling for them TIGERS!

Agreed, but who knows who Saban plans to take with him.

Remember Hal Hunter coaching the last game against Arkansas before Saban got here.

Skip needs to do the right thing. Shake Nick's hand and then tell him he's not coaching the Tigers in the bowl game. The team needs to move on. They will play hard for Jimbo. The fans need to move on, they don't need to see and hear about Saban during the bowl game week. This game is for the team and the school not for Saban. He ain't the coach anymore. Go to Miami and make news there, Nick.

I hope the players realize they represent the school and not the coach.

That's a very good point. Saban said in his PC that he wants the focus to be only on the bowl game, but we all know that won't happen. Hell, he even said he is going to MIA on Monday. The game is going to be overshadowed by the defection. In fact, we'll be forced to listen to the Saban departure throught out bowl week and the game itself. Wish I could turn down the TV and listen to the radio for the game. I am SOL on that one. BTW, the Iowa fans must be rolling their eyes. At least they get to focus on their bowl game and not worry about this crapola.
