1. Major meltdown on Louisville web boards. Kind of like it was here last week. By the way, I kind of enjoying this being a UK Wildcat Fan.

I still think there is a better coach than Petrino, JMO. I think Tedford and Miles would be a better fit.

If you go on the Louisville site, use kid gloves, they are a feisty group. Not only the have to deal with UK Wildcat fans, but know they have to deal with a wrath of LSU Fans. :thumb:

Have fun, here is the link:

  2. http://louisville.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=372713 <== an article from that site....

Looks a bit familiar doesn't it?
  3. looks like a lot of unhappy people :cuss: :angryfire :cuss: :angryfire
  4. One of their posters said fox sports radio stated that Petrino has been offered and that we are in contract negotiations.

Does anyone else listen to fox sports radio who can confirm this? I do not believe it but thought I would ask.
  5. Lovely, last week it was Saban rumors and inside information now we have to deal with this all again with our new coach...

    Sheesh ;)

Also I hope LSU did not offer, he was a our first interview.

Heck if we do hire him, it will be LSU premature headcoachelation...
  6. Never said I had inside info. I only asked if anyone listens to fox sports radio to see if they did indeed mention anything.

I would also say to those who only want 100% truthful info that you may want to stay away from message boards over the course of the next few days. :)

the premature comment was funny

At the same time, I hope we are not interviewing people simply to fill some sort of quota. If Petrino said all the right things, then welcome aboard!
  7. I would kick my dog if we hired Les Miles....
  8. Tedford is not coming. He just signed a new extension and is NFL bound within 2-3 years.

West Coast guy his entire life I believe
  9. All I have to say is at least there is one school that cares about football in the state of Kentucky. Louisville is light years ahead of the University of Kentucky.

    LSUDAN
  10. Whaddaya mean? Kentucky fans cared about football.

Of course, Bear Bryant was the coach at the time...
