I have only been in Jax for 6 months, but I know the people here like Del Rio as a person, but they always question his coaching decisions. There is a good article at firstcoastnews.com that talks about him standing behind his players, namely Byron Lfetwich in this article.
thanks, but i was actually ripping people on the site, not really looking for dirt on him. it just seems every single candidate mentioned here draws the ire of someone. just goes to show you how anyone besides Nick is a step down.
good lord how tall is she?????? he (daddy jack) was a linebacker. I'm 6'4' (ding). too bad I'm engaged, she'd be fun to play 2 hand touch with.:thumb:
Here ya go: some published proof that Del Rio to LSU is getting some play in Jacksonville. http://www.firstcoastnews.com/sports/sportsfinal/sportsfinal.aspx?storyid=6246 First Coast News Of course, this is dated tomorrow. Goes to show you I'll go to any length---even using my rusty old time machine---to bring you the latest LSU-related news. :thumb:
human nature, give it a rest. everyone wants LSU to succeed and the thought of the 90's dance in their heads. many ripped Nick when named 5 years ago since he had many question marks as well. Dude had never won a bowl game til he got here. Everyone just wants to be certain we have the best candidate, which is impossible of course. Jack be nimble...
Well, they showed a clip of yesterdays press conference. When asked about his interest in LSU, he just said he didn't want to talk about it. Sorry there isn't more, it is probably a little early right now. He has openly stated his disappointment of the fans Sunday (42% stadium capacity for a potential playoff berth game).
ah no denial....just not wanting to talk about it. no news is good news. i like it. maybe its not rumor. we can hope.
