will miles bring his DC to BTR??

I just talked to a guy that knows some of the OSU coaches, and he said that Clay is staying, and Miles will keep Muschamp as his DC.

 

This is great news!!! I haven't heard anything good about clay from OSU fans.

what does that prove besides he is coming to LSU? I think we have established that. Muschamp might stay, might not...time will tell. Here's hoping he stays.

 

Bill Clay is not staying here. He has commited to going to LSU with Les Miles. I seriously doubt if he will serve any capacity other that LB coach there. He was on the verge of a demotion here.

 

Doesn't 'prove' anything, just posting various links as I read them. Robert Allen is the administrator (I think) of that site, the equiv. of Mike Scarbourough of TigerBait. I would think he's in a solid position to confirm these things.

If Clay becomes the LB coach, I wonder what's gonna happen to my old HS coach "Stump" Collins? I hope he stays on staff, he really is a good coach. He would make a good DC if Will decided to go somewhere else.

 

I think if Clay comes to LSU you will find he is not a bad coach. I truly believe that we did not have the personnel to field his defense. You probably do and I think he could field any kind of defense. He has been at it a long time. The posters may not like him but the kids love him. Give him a chance if that is the way it turns out.
