Ok, maybe not afraid, but the basketball team may not be as bad as it seems. West Virginia (LSU's first loss--real bad) just beat No. 17 NCSt on the road by double digits (OK Hodge was out). Oh yeah, and the game before they beat No. 20 GW.

    Plus, FSU just beat UF.

I wouldnt be surprised if Brady is still here next year. I feel sorry for you bashers

Yep, this makes alot of sense, we should now be happy that we lost that game like we did. :thumb:

I will start playing the fiddle, *&%^$%$%$%#$##^^&^&*&*
I hoped you liked the music and I'm sure the mens team will have a winning
record in the SEC. :D

Btw It won't surprise me if Brady is here next year either.
At least the womens team is good and I'll be able to see them on tv on Saturday.

I'm not so sure, I think the program has regressed.
IMHO we had better talent and they played better when we were on
    probation with Swift and company.

No way this team comes close to that, you can flame away but I believe that
    is the truth IMHO

Do you really believe that a team like say, Gonzaga, has better talent than us? For some reason, some of the top talent in the country comes to LSU. Brandon Bass, Glen Davis, Regis Koundjia (I know hes gone, but still), and Tack Minor could be playing for the Duke, UNC, and UConn's of college basketball. If this team played up to their potential we'd be undefeated. Yet we lost to Houston.

Well, if WVU and FSU winning makes you feel better, this won't...
U.N.O. and Tulane (with their pathetic basketball programs) both beat Southern Miss. And wasn't it Houston who lost by like 40+ points to another team? By the way, Regis Koundjia couldn't be a water boy at Duke. He's in the running for the worst LSU player I've ever seen play for somewhat significant amounts of time. I've never seen so many air-ball three-pointers in my life. If he tried to throw a basketball in the ocean, he'd miss. I'm sure he was good though before Brady got a hold of him. There seems to be a trend there. Oh well, good luck Regis. By the way, I went to the FSU game in N.O. That was the most boring game I've ever seen. There were about two thousand people there. I never thought I'd see a time when LSU would play in N.O. and get that kind of crowd. They didn't even open up the terrace. If that doesn't tell Skip he needs to move on, nothing will.

The problem with Brady era basketball has never been the team (the players) its been the coaching.

If Tack Minor played for Duke it wouldn't be in a starting role or he wouldn't get the minutes he gets here.
I don't know if Gonzaga has better talent than us, haven't watched them play this year.
I bet they get more out of their players than we get out of ours.

Let me ask you a question now:
Do you think this team is just as good as Stromile Swift, Jabari Smith, Brian Bashara, Torrance Bright, Lamont Roland and Ronald Dupree?

I don't , I said that as far as I was concerned the team we had on probation
was better than last years team or this years.

This team certainly doesn't play anywhere near the calibur of that team in any way especially defensively.
