a no win situation? Was Saban coming in here and turning our program around a no win situation? So he left, he also got us 2 SEC & 1 National Championship. Maybe Miles was hired with this in mind? Somebody to come in and hold the seat, make sure its warm while he waits for Michigan/NFL while we wait for Del Rio - who wasn't quite ready but wanted a few more years and then said he would come to LSU. Miles wins big to improve his stock, while improving LSU and then he leaves... boo hoo, oh wait - what's this, Del Rio is waiting for the offer? He's going to take over the program? Ok... so maybe thats a little over the top conspiracy theory.
How is Miles looking in the eyes of LSU's potential signees? Is he familiar with the area at all? How does the overall recruiting picture look now that LSU has settled with Miles?
Saban had to basically get a green card, and he landed #1 recruiting classes. I am sure Miles wil do find recruiting the state of Alabama. He will just give another "let her rip" speech to moma, and the blue chippers will be in like flynn.
Hey man I'm sorry. I'm just giving an honest opinion. I'm pretty sure that most other Sooner fans feel the same way. Miles has been a thorn in our side for a few years and we are glad he is gone. Aside from beating OU I don't believe he has beaten anyone that was very good. I'm just stating facts.
