I wouldn't be surprised if Bennett signs with LSU. The way it sounds is that he wavered back and forth up to committing on TV to A&M. Doesn't seem he was real convinced, and my impression from watching is that he was playing to the cameras. Maybe RP can keep working on him...
That's how he made it sound at first, saying he just decided 45 seconds ago etc. Then he started talking about how he's been wearing Aggie sweatshirts all along and all you had to do was pay attention to know where he was going to go. It's hard to read these kids' minds - you can't believe much they say.
Though I couldn't read the article (not a member), Bobby Burton's "tease" on Rivals.com indicates his choice was LSU up until the camera's came on... oh well, you win some, you lose some... our class is shaping up to be solid...
If this is true, I guess this makes us square with the Aggies given what happened with Harvey Williams. Story was something like this: he was going to A&M until, what, someone started playing the Aggie fight song as he approached the podium to make his announcement. Annoyed by this, Harvey chose LSU.
