Going to the bottom of the 9th with Smith still in. We've been handcuffed offensively so we need our pitching to finish the job.

Well, over 40 games into the season & the Tigers don't know how to run the bases, 13 K's, & 12 LOB. Now, tell me that coaching is lacking something!!!

We won. We've been to back-to-back the CWS. Baseball does not have a style point catagory. Unlike another coach who I'd love to jetison, Smoke does get the job done. Shuddup!!!!

Phenomenal pitching performance by Greg Smith. 2nd straight complete game SO. Midtown, both sides got mowed down today, and both teams BA's took a nose dive. That's why its called a rubber match. Vandy is known for excellent pitching. Let's keep the momentum rolling into next weekend at home.

Bama scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 8th to win 11-9 ... that sucks.

Good news ... Tenn takes 2/3 from UF.

LSU stays 1 game behind Bama in the West and only 2 games behind SEC leading Florida. Only 9 games left.

The fact has been stated time, and time again, LSU (or any other team) will NEVER make a run with national titles ever again--not with the way baseball is played these days. How do other teams in the SEC put up with .500 league records? LSU's fans have been spoiled. This season is testament that if you can maintain above a .500 league record in the SEC, you're obviously doing something right. Is it enough to satisfy LSU fans? No, but apparently aything less than a CWS title isn't either...
