South Carolina is one of two SEC teams with a losing all-time record (MSMoo is the other one). I degrudingly admit the fan loyalty is amazing. To have the following they do, with that history is either a credit to their fans, or a comment on how dumb they are. And having meet a few Clemson grads, I'm opting for the former.

I like Visor Boy and all his garbage. Prior to his arrival at Florida, they were just annoying yankees with a so-so team, much like they are now. Steve-o made them pompous yankees with a team that usually lost the really big ones. It's going to take him two full seasons to beat UT, UGa , or Florida, but he'll do it. The Gamecocks will snag a 2nd place finish in the East, then he'll quit.

Those fans have something to be excited about every year. It just never pans out. "Wait 'til next year" is on the school flag. Some pretty good coaches have had thier careers buried at USC.
