2 injuries is below average for football... and we have just as much depth at LB as we do at any other position.. the only reason LB stands out is that there is no standout freak... it is all pretty much even..
I read an article the other day that basically said Spadoni was doing really well at his new position. Channel 9 news just said Miles labeled Spadoni as Kuale's replacement. I'd think that means he's doing pretty darn well, which I'm really happy about. Not happy about EJ getting hurt, but I think it's cool that this kid who's evidently a really good athlete was just at the wrong position and ended up not getting much playing time. I hope he kicks some serious butt at his new position.
Ive jokingly talked about spadoni for a long time saying he needed more PT and stuff but over time he's become one of my favorite tigers. I've been hoping I''d hear this. catholic league guy doing well. go spadoni WOOT!
You gotta love those guys that think as a team player. Spadoni moved positions for the team and himself and is giving it all he's got. Those are usually the guys that come through for you.
Looks like this thread got derailed with more retread info trying to determine if injuries are good or bad. I'm encouraged that they're only saying 4-6 weeks. I assumed he was out for the season, so this is definitely some great news!
No, neither could I.....but the fact that it was thought to be a season ending injury and now doesn't look that way is GOOD! :yelwink2:
Spadoni is getting the start over Highsmith. http://www.shreveporttimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050909/SPORTS0202/509090338
