I was just on gatorsports.com and those fans are giving LSU very little respect. This will make it a whole lot sweeter when we send the Gaytors back to Florida with their tails under their asses. I look forward to that game. I hope that we have a good turnout. I think that it will be a game to remember. I propose that we do something special for that game. Maybe something like.... Everyone who tail gates before the game should have barbque alligator on the grill or something like that. LOL. Let's just see how our tigers do against Tennesee and then we can see how our tigers stack up against the gaytors. I personally believe that we have a lot more talent then they do. The question is, can Les Miles motivate our team well enough to have them focused. Time will tell..... :geauxtige
Ah who cares about respect anyway. I don't expect them to respect us. Likewise, after the UT game, I don't respect them as much as they think they should be respected. They will respect the final score when they are on the short end of it.
With all due respect we have not earned respect yet. We have played one game and gave up close to 600 yards. Had 2 touchdowns to put us back in the game on a blocked FG and a poorly executed punt. Offense was sloppy. Fla surely must freel that they can throw the ball with the offense they have if we are going to get respect we have to go out and win. If the tables were turned we would not be giving UF any respect. Lets see what we do against Tenn. and then see where we go on the respecct earned meter.
That's been going on for years and years. Restaurants use it as a promo on gamedays as well. Sorry, but it's nothing new.
You know, its possible the LSU's pass defense isn't quite as bad as we think, ASU has gotten 1203 passing yards in three games so far. That's averaging over 400 yards in the air each game. Florida has only gotten 723 in three games.
Well stated guys. I wouldn't respect us either after what I saw against ASU. The two SEC championships and NC are a thing of the past. This team has to prove themselves to garner any respect and show they deserve a #3 ranking.
Imagine that... LSU is getting no repect from an over-rated Florida program, that just beat an over-rated Tennessee program. Both Florida and Tennessee will have trouble beating Alabama, yet alone LSU.
