How is it that you are as smart as Miles and seeminly "Know" what he thinks? :dis:  you suspect? Dr Watson is that you>>> ??? :dis:
Miles doesn't have to look very far to see that Auburn has been averaging 37+ points per game. Give Auburn a few turnovers, and second chances because of careless penalties, and they will put some serious points on the board.
If LSU had this schedule, how many points per game do you think we would be averaging? AU schedule so far: 09/03 Ga Tech L 23-14 09/10 Miss St W 28-0 09/17 Ball St W 63-3 09/24 W Kentucky W 37-14 10/01 S Carolina W 48-7 10/15 at Arkansas W 34-17 I am not taking anything away from Auburn, I just do not think they have proven anything yet.
you're right! we havent proven anything yet. But we have balanced our offense out since the Ga Tech game and it is running a lot smoother. Just because we haven't proven anything doesn't mean we aren't a team capable of beating LSU.
Don't worry bud, I respect your team. I hate them, but I respect them. The same goes for your coach. Saturday's game will answer a lot of questions about both teams.
I agree. I'm still skeptical about my team. I don't know if they can get it done, but we will see. I just haven't seen LSU play like they should yet. Its a very talented team that just needs to figure out some of the kinks. Can't wait for Saturday. It'll be my first time in Baton Rouge.
I think he was genuinely shocked by the meltdown against Tenn, and if there was a game this season in which he was a bit overwhelmed, this was it. I think he saw Vandy and Miss St as a way to work out the kinks, so he didn't get too openly steamed since he had pegged Florida week as being the point in which everything came together. One can make a blizzard of mistakes and still bury Vandy, but if in the process it moves the team closer to "getting it" from a ball security and mistake-avoidance standpoint, it's somewhat acceptable. It didn't get fixed in time for Florida, and what we're now seeing is someone who has had it with the mistakes and doesn't see the need to screen this anger from the fans any longer. He's not the brightest bulb in the pack, but even he knows what we know: this team can "do great things" this season, as he says...but not if it keeps f*cking up with the mistakes.
Maybe Miles has learned that if he doesn't show emotion in an interview that many Tiger fans will say he doesn't give a crap about the mistakes, so he has decided to put on a front for those that will judge his style. Lord knows what is actually on his mind but I'd have to guess anyone who loves their job and gets payed very well gets upset when their people do not perform up to expectations.
Too bad we get it figured out for Saturday. It's a bad time for Auburn to show up. Even though we beat Florida with all of the mistakes I think this team is going to show what it's made of this weekend. :hihi: Good luck and have fun before the game...if you get a chance be sure to get your invites to tailgate with some of the finer fans and ignore the one tenth of 1 percent of morons who might get a little annoying. If at all possible check out the Tiger Walk and the band playing "Pregame" on the "Hill". Ask anyone (you will have to endure "Tiger Bait" yelled a few thousand times) and they can point you in the right direction. I'll be there...
