Dang....I didn't know how MUCH better LSU women looked. :thumb: :thumb: She's much hotter than the aubbie chick in tirk's sig!
I actually agree with you. I would never take a game with Auburn for granted. The Georgia-Auburn game is always tough. Since 1892 at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. Oldest rivalry in the South.
I did not see the interview Tirk mentioned, so I will just give my thoughts and opinions from what I have seen of Miles at LSU, in comparison to also having been a Les Miles fan when he was at OSU. Emotion. The Les Miles I have seen in (in the few interviews I have seen) has been definitely holding back. I don't know why, but he hasn't had the same passion I saw while at OSU. He has always seemed to me to be a man that is real and genuine with his emotions. Whether it is fired up as in "let 'er rip" to being man enough to cry at a formal players funeral, what you see if what you get. If he is showing that firey side again, I think that is great. IMO, Miles being an emotionally open person is what helped him lead the team through Katrina. I think that he was able to let the players have their fears and problems and not diminish them just to think about football. While in the aftermath of the storm, some coaches *cough, phatphil, cough* were running to the media whining about how bad they had it and unfair life was, Miles represented the University with dignity and compassion. We never once heard him whine about conditions or the difficult circumstance the team faced. I would hope that alone would give LSU fans cause enough to give the man a chance, and see where the teams is going, rather than continually harp on what has gone wrong. While at OSU, Miles turned down a part of his salary in order to have it go to assistant coaches pay. He also negotiated long term contracts for his assistants that were unheard of anywhere else. No, his ego is not too big to surround himself with good people. (I flamed Pelini after the ASU game, and I am sorry I did. He is turning out to be a good DC after all.)
CajDav is on his wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, here he comes to save the dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
