LSU talent has again outplayed the coaches.

Dis anybody else feel the announcers were trying to jinx LSU in the fourth quarter. The last couple of possession they would say stuff like LSU has not turned the ball over all game. Usually right when the announcers say stuff like that the ball is turned over the very next play. These guys were definately pulling for Alabama

    Was that really the case?

I know my cousin called me and told me that the announcers from hardcore Pro-Alabama too... Was it really that bad?

The things that get me with Miles are mainly the fact that Addai wasn't healthy, our team SEEMINGLY not being ready to play in the first half and ULTRA conservative play-calling that almost made the UT game look like a Spurrier-led run-and-gun clinic--ok, maybe not. However, I'll give Miles some props. I love his intensity (and the coaches in general, MAD props to Searels, I miss Muschamp's intensity too though) and I love the personable approach to the players. I don't think the problem is with Miles as much as it is with our assistant coaches/coordinators. Before I get blasted, I think the world of both Pellini and Fisher. Pellini is now becoming the guy I knew he was going to be for us. Fisher still hasn't gotten things right (in my eyes,) BUT our offense is better than it's been since the days of Rohan and Josh. Some blame could be put on players too, I guess. So what am I complaining about? I guess I'm not, really. But I think that our staff can do better, they've been improving every week thus far. I still rather this staff than any other in the SEC. I don't think that if we had Spurrier we'd automatically be a USC-caliber O. There are learning curves with ANY coaching staff.

I agree that the players are winning these games much more so than the coaches.

That being said, hats off to Pellini, he has turned this thing around in a big way.

Offensively, Jimbo receives a grade of C-. Too much talent and too complacent an offense. Just watch a USC game and you will quickly see how it should be done. And don't tell me we don't have similiar talent on offense. That's bullsh!t.

I still think Miles has a deer in the headlights look at times when it gets down to the end of the game in crunch time. He does not inspire confidence looking at him. And the team plays as such. Auburn should have been put away, Florida as well, and the Bama game should not have gone overtime. Call it lucky or whatever, we're winning but the problems lying beneath the surface are there.....when we start to lose these kinda games, everyone will insist they saw it coming. Well save your breath.

the players have to be the ones to win the games more than the coaches in any sport. if he can keep the talent coming in then he or any coach would continue to win. he's doing fine. we're winning.

I see you were listening to James Bitterman's poor excuse for a Sports Talk show this morning. There's a world of difference between Miles and Archer. For one, Archer wasn't much older than his players and he had zero head coaching experience.
