Shula has done a very good job, I mean taking over that program in the position it was in. They were down and everyone was kicking them, sanctions, stripper buying coaches, caoches leaving for "better" opportunities....Shula deserves a lot of credit. That being said 23 seniors, you don't get better losing 23 seniors, I just don't care who you are. Once leinart and Bush leave this year from USC even they will not be without pause. Alabama will still be competitive of course, but another title run is a year away in my opinion. And MSU might be better under Croom so far, but recruiting still doesn't have a pulse over there and you can't score on SEC defenses without athletes.
Offense that we lose... Brodie--that's it. Tebow will take his place :thumb: All WR, line, backfield, and TE's return. Defense that we lose... Mark Anderson-Will be replaced by Greenwood (Greenwood is awesome) Rudy Griffin-He was a walk-on transfer from the Citadel. We will miss him. Freddie Roach-Will be missed, but I am sure redshirt freshman Prince Hall will take the job next year. Hall is stronger but not quicker. DeMeco Ryans-Biggest hit on D. Huge hit...Jones is good, similar to Roach, but no Ryans. Anthony Madison-Had heart and was a good guy (why he started), but was just too small. I think we actually come out better with Mitchell (6'2'') next year. Roman Harper-:bncry: Dukes is a solid player and may fit in well with the unit. Very quick. Charlie Peprah-Im not sold on Marcus Carter...A frosh may come in and start. Still will have Simpson, Castille, Gilberry, Clark, and Robinson will all be back as starters. Sure we have 23 seniors but 8 of them are the only ones that contribute...Granted our sheldule doesn't favor us (travel to UT, UF, LSU) but I think that we will do well again and compete for the west again.

Wake up! These guys are arguing with you just to get you fired up and upset. The Bama football program looks like its headed in the right direction to me. So are the Auburn and LSU programs, in my opinion. I don't know why any LSU fans don't like Bama when we have the Barners to dislike. Bama never stomped on our Tiger logo . . . the Barn did. GO BAMA!! BEAT THE BARNERS IN THE IRON BOWL!! We LSU fans better be thinking about our game against Ole Miss. If our players think that they can just show up and win, they will be wrong.
