TTU's receivers have been able to get open against everyone this year, everyone but utexas. The speed and size that utexas has is amazing. It was like watching a High School team play a Jr. High. They run with you, and it looks like they are loafing, then they slap your face. They just have to get around the Mack Factor. If LSU cannot be positioned to get into the MNC game, I hope it is utexas. I really want someone there who can put an end to their streak with a huge exclamation mark. When it happens, I bet the media doesn't discredit them like they did last year's ou team, (which was deserved).

In spite of all that has been said about Texas this and Texas that, Mack Brown is the biggest choker in recent NCAA football history.

If Texas goes to the Rose Bowl, its with the mentality of playing not to lose the game.

I'm not sold on Texas being superior to teams like LSU, Penn State or Virginia Tech.

I have a feeling that USC would end up spanking Texas.

I am also completely fed up with the obvious bias shown by ESPN.
Kirk Herbstreit is the most biased guy on there. First, he ALWAYS picks Ohio State. Second, he never picks LSU unless they are playing a team like North Texas. Whenever there is a close matchup, he ALWAYS picks the other team.
Yesterday, he declared Auburn the best team in the SEC! They always talk about how Auburn missed 5 field goals against us, but never mention that LSU also missed field goals, and dropped two touchdown balls. Give me a break. The spin job is ridiculous.
All they could talk about this morning was how awesome the USC offense was. It kind of helps when the other team turns the ball over FIVE TIMES. And they still only won by one score. Of couse, they did emphasize USC's one turnover, I guess to show that USC helped Fresno State to keep it so close.:dis:
The other thing that bothers me...I heard yesterday during the part of the SC/ Clemson game they showed that Auburn is in the SEC championship game. (At least I think I did.) I know for sure I heard last weekend that Aurburn currently has the lead in the SEC west. This was after LSU beat Bama. What is it with the LSU hate, and the just obvious problem with getting simple facts right? It drives me crazy. How many times have we heard LSU player names mangled? How about at least once or twice a game.
These polls, especially the Sagarin Rating are the biggest bunch of garbage ever. Yeah, you don't have to follow them, but unfortunately, the system does, and that affects where and who your team plays at the end of the season.
    OK, done venting.

I disagree wholeheartedly. Texas will hang 50 on their sorry defense.

After the game Bush said the Fresno defense was physical, but not fast, so he had a big game. When they play defenses that are fast, but not so much physical, they run White at them. Question. What would they do against a big physical defense who's also fast as hell? You know like LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Bama?
