Re: My Thoughts on the LSU/UK game.. Well I asked Tack after the game if he got the Redshirt and he told me he got it. So thats a plus.
This team took all Kentucky could throw at us. Kentucky needed this game as they still dont have a win against a top 50 team. (i am pretty sure that is right) They play incredible defense.. as does LSU. Good teams deal with adversity. This team has dealt with adversity all year long. Tough losses, injuries, road wins in the SEC.. count 5 of them... Shows true grit and courage that they find a way to win. That starts with a strong coaching staff and players that respond to the challenges. Way to go tigers!!!.. I believe in you and won't be a bit disappointed in the way this season ends no matter what happens.
I am on alert for a new account creation this week from Golfer. He cant stay away that long. Golfer, I know your writing tendencies. I'm looking for you on a different name! :yelwink2:
I worry about injuries with this team. Not even injuries bad enough to totally bench a player, but the nagging ones that can keep them from being 100%. I hope they can get some rest and take care of themselves for a few days.
I was saying that I thought that Kentucky has not posted a win against a top 50 team. I still say this team has dealt with adversity in a very mature way for a young team.. I am very proud of LSU and our coaching staff deserves great cudos.
I'm love reading the Cats' boards.... The refs won us that game apparently... Not our out-rebounding them by 12 or us shooting 47% in the second half...:rofl::rofl: I love how every losing team (us included) puts on their own colored glasses and remembers only their own bad calls. Yeah, they got called fouls on blocks that were all ball, Tas definately walked on one of his shots... But Davis was getting mauled undernearth most of the game, and got his 4th foul on a BS call that should have iced the game for us. Kentucky played very very aggressively on defense which should turn into fouls.... They simply Big Blew it....
