The host of The Heard was eating lunch with Scott van Pelt (the sportscenter anchor) and both agreed that LSU was the best team in the SEC, and that they were going to, and I quote, "kick Florida's teeth in."

We are, according to him, the deepest team in the conference.

    "Absolutely manhandles Florida this weekend."

"Sometimes the best team in the country doesn't win the national title. It's about the schedule."

"The only team in the country that can go toe-to-toe with tOSU, but I'm afraid they won't get their chance."

"They're a freakshow. [Every aspect of the ball] is great."

How's that for no ESPN love? Dude is GUZZLIN' the purple Kool-Aid.

Let's go out there and make the man look like a genius.

Yeah, Cowherd has been giving us some major props this year. Dude is absolutely all over the SEC in general. A couple of weeks ago, he was very persistently touting it as bar-none the best football conference in America. Anyone that called in and disagreed was lambasted. It was great.

At any rate, this is the same fella that said months ago that 'Air Force, with their quirky offense, is gonna go into Tennessee and either beat them, or give them fits until the end.' Well, that's precisely how it turned out. Hope his accuracy is equal on this one.

LSU doesn't need pundits saying this. It will fire up UF.

Even though I think he is right. If LSU can run the ball for a 150 yds and eat some clock up, LSU should win big.

Hey, that's why this game is so freaking huge. For a change, the media is (still can't believe I'm typing this) on LSU's side this season.

A break or three--where you have only one undefeated and LSU is the highest-ranked one loss---and you have media love to thank, in part, for getting to Glendale in January.

Cowherd is the only reason why I subscribe to espnradio. He's always saying the talent that used to be at Miami is now at LSU. Always includes LSU in his top 5 teams. Back in January he picked us for the NC. The dude is flatout funny, I had to subscribe because I just couldn't listen to him at work. He always detracted our attraction, and we wouldn't be able to get anything done.

I agree. I'm glad he's giving LSU the attention and all, but the dude tends to get on his high horse. "Weasel" is a good description.
