Screw the Outback bowl! They do not deserve a SEC West team this year. I have been to all the bowl games the last few years and would rank the top 3 in this order. 1. Peach 2. Capital One 3. Cotton Although the rankings or payout maybe small or on the low end, the Peach bowl is always a blast. The tailgatting, stadium and people of Atlanta always seem to appreciatte LSU. The Capital one was also nice to tailgate but the traffic and drive were horrible.
Living in the Dallas area, if we aren't a BCS player, I would love the Tigers to play in the Cotton Bowl. The weather is unpredictable in Dallas on New Year's Day. I remeber in the late 70's as a kid, I saw Houston vs. Nebraska and the weather was warm low 80's... then eith the next year or 2 yrs later, Houston against Notre Dame in the ice (79 I Believe). The only other drawback is that i can't get to excited about playing ATM, or Oklahoma... Nebraska....maybee..... :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
Cotton Bowl does suck, it's one of the few bowls that does not allow the marching bands to perform their Pregame Shows, 2002 was my worst bowl experience ever (not just because we lost), bad stadium, pregame festivities were boring, i definitely will never go back to that stadium, only chance would be LSU v. USUCK
The Cotton Bowl is drooling over the prospect of getting Arkansas there. I would bet that no matter what happens (besides them winning the SECCG) the Hogs end up there.
