You must be a little mental, so I shouldn't make fun of you, but look here... Bama - 25 Hawaii - 17 Bama - 13 Vandy - 10 Ark - 24 Bama - 23 Fla - 28 Bama - 13 Duke - 14 Bama - 30 (way closer than the score indicates) Miss - 23 Bama - 24 Tenn - 16 Bama - 13 Miss St. - 24 Bama - 16 So far, I'm not at all impressed. Why on earth, other than being a homer, would you think Bama would beat LSU by 18?
I'm probably in the minority here but I am looking for Bama to rebound and win this game after they lost to Miss St last week. If its one thing I know about college football its that expect the unexpected. The fact that it is a rivalry game and at Tiger Stadium doesn't help either. A lot of times a team will lose a game they shouldn't such as Bama last week and rebound and win. LSU could be due a letdown game this week, could be overlooking Bama, could come out flat, etc. This is a trap game for LSU! I will never forget in Nick's first or second year when Bama came to town and beat the heck out of us in our own back yard! Having said this I am hoping for the best, that the Tigers will come out on fire and play well otherwise Bama could win in a close one or will JR win another one as time expires?
Well, my only worry is that it is a rivalry game, and you never know what will happen in rivalry games. I hope you're wrong. However, last year and the year before, I would have thought Bama had a fighting chance, but this year, they look pretty bad. I just think LSU's talent alone will be too much for them.
My wife was due for our second son the day after we played Bama in '04. Yes I did Attend the game. Fortunately, he wasn't born until 5 days later.
This is a "Trap Game" for LSU. If LSU is flat and LSU turns the ball over, then BAMA could sneak out of Baton Rouge with a win. Have we come out of a "big win" game yet this year by coming out "flat" in the next game? I can't recall at the moment. ldskule:
Definitely a trap game here. LSU coming off a big emotional win. Bama stunk it up and lost against a team they should easily have beaten. Bama's wins against LSU in the past 20 yeards have come at Death Valley for the most part We'll see if Les Miles can get his troops properly prepared and motivated
