1. Live during Army AA Game
  2. 3.5 gpa....national honor society memember....High school All-American....LSU Tiger commitment! Doesn't get any better than that does it?!
  3. The University of LSU, huh?
  4. Mama sounded proud. Not sure how she is going to get to LSU for games.
  5. Man is on the national Honor society, I am sure he was nervous. But he is NOT dumb I assure you.

    Welcome to LSU
  6. they'll be on national tv more weeks than not...and it's not like they live in a 3rd-world country where balancing vacation and eating is a problem.

I used to make 2 games per year when I lived in Boston.
  7. Yeah. He was definately nervous. It's one thing to have your quotes in an article, or internet recruiting website, but it's an entirely different ball game when you have to stand up in front of a camera and national audience and speak for the first time.
  8. Sorry for the misleading statement. His mother made the comment she did not know how she was going get down for his games but she would find a way. I was actually impressed with his mom. National Honor Society... Impressive. Nerves... understandable
  9. welcome aboard!
  10. We're definately a good fit for Barksdale (and of course viceversa)

Cox Communication center for athletes has got to be a big draw for someone as dedicated to his studies as Barksdale is (and equally a big draw for his parents, who want to be assured that their son gets his grades in order and not get sidetracked being so far away from home).

Throw in the fact that we're further establishing ourselves as "Defensive Line U" where it's undeniable the talent (especially RECENT talent) along the D-line we've produced as NFL talent.
