    Re: Wow

Thanks for sharing your "opinions" with us. I realize that your views are shared by about 80 percent of all Bama fans . . . you are all convinced that the "Saban Hurricane" will rip out a streak of Bama Domination such that the world has never seen.

Two SEC Championships and one :crystal: are practically guaranteed within a 5 year period. Within 10 years, Hurricane Saban will be sitting for his sculpture that will be used for his statue.

This is indeed an incredible time to be an Alabama fan, and I congratulate you on your greatness.

We are surely humbled by your football prowess, and we expect you to win the SEC next year, for, surely, if you do not, you must then look within for the seeds of your failure.

We bow down to you in humble respect, O Alabama Nation.

Regardless of where the intellectually challenged hail from, it is still self defeating when we southern folks disparage each other. I would much rather be associated with southrons of any color or socioeconomic background than to be required to hear the nasally whine of a damn yankee.

Rather than start a stupid thread, I'll just post this here. I played golf yesterday (in Lafayette) wearing an LSU pullover. I had the following conversation:

USL Fan: Why are you wearing that Crap?

    Me: It's cold.

USL Fan: No, that crap on the front?

    Me: Because it's glued on.

USL Fan: Man, I hate those M*****F*****s

Me: Yeah, I heard there were people like you.

USL Fan: They get all of the State's money.

Me: 90 thousand asses in the seats helps out with some of the bills.

USL Fan: If LSU played Iraq, I'd pull for Iraq.

    Me: You would lose.

USL Fan: You're from Lafayette. You should support UL.

Me: I'm from Breaux Bridge and why would I want to support Louisville?

USL Fan: I'm for any team that plays LSU.

Me: Yeah, you and the other 8 people at your games.

USL fan: Grumbles and walks away.

Me: You've got a good softball team.

WTF is that even supposed to mean? This LSU grad is proud of his extended family being from the North.

He doesn't mean "Northerners", he means yankees. Like saying Redneck does not entirely mean all Southerners.

At least, that's what I think he means. If not, then I retract my previous statement of agreement.

I have no clue. I was born and raised in New Orleans but people always thought of me as a Northerner just because my parents are from Chicago. It's an attitude I don't respect or understand.

    Priceless! :thumb:

I have a good friend who's a really good SB pitching coach and is good friends with Stefni and Michael Lotief ...........won me a case of beer last year when LSU knocked them out, but you are right, they have a good softball program- ours is just better.
