1. Incredible win considering 23 TOs and the worst officiating I've seen all year.

Hope they have something left in the tank for tonight's game.
  2. I was thinking the same thing when we started overtime. Big Baby should be pretty well rested at least. Hopefully the regular season will have conditioned them for this run.
  3. At the end of the game when it looked like we might lose I thought how
fitting it would be to end the season like we started with football.
    bad officiating
  4. :geauxtige beat Ole Piss!!

  5. I'm sure Ole Miss was loving every minute of it. We look pretty banged up after the game. Lazare cut over his eye and Davis with a bloody nose. Gotta have some bumps and bruises from all the physical play.

The good news is we have the late game again. Just hope the game is not as physical ... that could wear us down with our short bench.
  6. I love how Tim LSU-Brando was saying how Ole Miss would WANT to play Tennessee, because LSU is more talented that Tennessee.

Although it may be true, no other announcer would say that the #3 seed, and No. 24 in the country wasn't as good as a 5-11 team in the SEC.

A win over Tenn would have meant a quality win, though, so maybe that is what he meant.

    1 down, 3 to go.
  7. That's how I took it. They interviewed the Ole Miss coach earlier in the day and he talked about how they needed a win or 2 to secure a bid. Their rpi is really low and beating Tenn would help them more than beating LSU.
  8. I agree, but beating LSU would give them a better chance at not having to worry about RPI... Just win the whole damned thing.

I guess I am of the old-school mentality of not having to put your eggs in someone else's basket.

  10. LSU playing to the max for 60 minutes can match up with almost anyone. Defense will keep them in the game. A little O is what is needed (not that Brady knows how to supply it  but just someone getting hot for about 8 games and we could be there again).
