OK. Lets breathe, sit back and relax. Next weeks game is huge for the team but we can only do so much as a fan base to help them win. Breathe again,we will be fine. More than fine,we WILL win this game in Tiger Stadium. I respect the VT team without a doubt but I have more confidence in our players, our coaches and our FANS who will pour into Tiger country and fill the streets and stadium with calls of "tigah bait" to the opposing fans and players. Tiger Stadium is THE most terrifying place for opposing teams to play on a Sat. night! The team knows this, the other team knows this and the fans know this. Even if you don't have a ticket lets make this the biggest crowd on record for a game. We can be in the thousands outside the stadium eating, drinking and cheering on the team to victory. Think about it,lets make a statement with our fanbase, lets scare the opponents with our shear numbers outside the stadium. "The time is now".

I feel pretty good about our chances next week. It's going to be a nail biter, but that makes the win all the more enjoyable. It's going to be a battle in the trenches next week and win or lose it's going to be a long time before we get to see another one like that...

I'm sayin 14-10 LSU.. wait... gonna revise that... 17-10.. in a victory dedicated to Mike VI!

Put it to you this way...I have seen LSU play worse against inferior competition (even more inferior than Moo U) and play up to their capability against the quality opponent.

Les will have this team ready to go next weekend!!!

Not worried at all, like I said in another topic, I have that blowout feeling for this game. I think both the D and O will explode against a really good Vt team(slightly overrated.. great D though).

I'm glad someone started a thread about filling up the area outside the stadium. I don't think I'll have the chance to attend many games at TS this year, but I just love the atmosphere of pre game. I wanna bring my son down to see Mike VI, and to see the band march down the hill.

My question is this...is there an area outside the stadium to actually watch the game? If not, where is the nearest FAMILY place to catch the game after the pregame festivities are over? I know at some stadiums, they have monitors OUTSIDE the stadium, but have never noticed if they do at TS or not.

sorry to burst your bubble, but if youre not worried then youre naive (ok, that is if you can ever get worried about a football game). if the 03 NC LSU team can get beat at home to an average UF team (and beat pretty handlely) then VT can come to BR and stomp this team.

i think its more likely that LSU stomps VT, but there are so many uncertainties/unknowns this early in the season.

with home field advantage and a better qb, LSU has the advantage

Yes and yes,but that is not what the spirit of this thread is about. Fans need to be on campus regardless if they have a ticket or not. Time to make a statement with the FANS come game day. Savy?:yelwink2:

Nice thread. Bring on the Hokies. We owe them for last time at their place. Death Valley will be insane. I'm talking tremors.
