    Past the fact that we are playing Florida at home, at night...Florida's loss tonight means that we have to play a pissed off Gator team that has something to prove now. The only way in hell they have a shot at getting back in the NC race is to beat us and the are gonna give us one hell of a fight. LSU is going to have to be top game and I know our defense can do it but our offense is giving me the heeby-jeebies...come on Flynn, we have faith, step it up.

    Aim for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...:crystal:

    Eh, I would have figured this week would have been their "wake up week" after their poor performance last week.

    UF is actually on the verge of meltdown, IMO. A loss to LSU next week, followed by road games to Kentucky and Georgia in the respective weeks, and things can get really ugly, really fast for them.

    why does this not scare me?

    The should have been mad for the piss poor game from the week prior. They should have been mad from losing to Auburn last year, it was a revenge game. Now, they come into Death Valley, at night, against the team that they kept out of the national title game last year. We're pissed about our piss poor game today and it's obvious we were looking ahead. We have the shot of knocking Florida out of the whole thing completely. I say, we have the advantage.

    Does not scare me at all. I was in TS when we knocked the snot out of VT and if you don't think TS is a huge advantage for this team you don't read the player's quotes.

    If we believe that we are the best then we have to take on any team at any time. It's the championship caliber teams that can overcome situations like this. I believe we are going to get Fla's best effort but after today's first half I really believe Miles is going to make sure LSU put's forth IT'S best.

    This weekend showed me that the first time UF, OU, UWV, Rutgers, and UT played anyone decent, they were tested and lost.

    It's heartbreak time for Florida....

    That team thought they were on top of the world... disrespected at #3/4 because of defending national champions.

    Ole Miss was a fluke, right?
    Auburn? They are 2-2, they beat us last year, we have them at the Swamp. No way they beat us here.

    Hmmm.....

    They come in and play disheartened against us. Go to Kentucky after a bye week and that game will become a shootout.

    @LSU
    @Kentucky
    Georgia (JAX)
    @South Carolina

    All games that could be a potential loss for the Gators. Meyer is a good enough coach not to lose them all, but hey... Colorado just beat OU, Texas lost to KSU, WV lost to USF.... etc....

    Hell the FSU-UF game looks interesting. It could end up very similar to this Bama game tonight.

    I have no doubt in my team...i'm no fairweather fan...all I am saying is I think Florida will bring their A-game and we best be the team that mutilated VT a couple of weeks ago.

    Flynn is a great quarterback, and I know numbers talk, but I just want to see more I guess, is that so wrong? haha.

    This is not last year's Florida defense. They have freshmen and first year starters all over the place. Talented, but extremely young. Two of the worst offenses (Ole Miss and Auburn) had some success against them. No matter how pissed they are, they can't make up for inexperience.

    Despite our OL's inability to pass protect, I think we'll have no problems moving the ball against them. I get the feeling that we will finally see Crowton's entire offensive package. We've seen some of it, but we'll see much more of it Saturday night.

    Florida's defense will improve as the year goes on, which is why I rather not have to play them again in the SECCG.

    Florida has to be equally worried about playing LSu at night in Tiger Stadium. On upset weekend, when 7 of the top 13 teams lost, LSU had their let-down game, their look-ahead game, their came-out-flat road game, had 15 penalties and let their quarterback get sacked 6 times . . . and still won 34-9.

    This could be the year, fellers.
