What's up with Bama calling "just another regular season game" a Bowl game? They called the FSU game the "Bama Bowl" and now the call the LSU/Bama game the Saban Bowl. Are they so starved for attention they call regular season games Bowl games now? I'm sure Nick enjoys this game being called the Saban Bowl. :hihi:

Well, this week's Birmingham's online paper for one. I have no interest in digging through the archives to find the Bama Bowl reference, you'll just have to trust me. It's also mentioned by Stewart Mandel in this weeks Power Rankings.

That goes against what you posted in the first post on this thread. You said "what's up with Bama calling this a bowl." TB3 told you it's a media thing...and, that's what you have just posted. I'd love to see a link for this though... Giving the B-ham paper and ounce of weight it akin to saying Glenn G. is an LSU insider.
