on the undercard, soccer won their 1st ever SEC West title Fri night. then Football beats Bama and the ever-hated Nick $aban. then boston college loses, putting LSU back into the No. 2 slot, controlling their own destiny Then in front of the whole football world, Joseph Addai rips up the Pats defense for 100 yds rushing and 100 yds receiving while Kevin Faulk gets what may potentially be the game-winning TD, while Jarvis Green sacked Manning, forcing a fumble to get the Pats back the ball. does it really get any better than that?
i got a call from ot earlier echoing those sentiments. while listening to the indy game the radio, addai was called "electrifying" and there was mention of lsu as being #2. she was so excited to hear those things that she couldn't keep it to herself. yep. a great weekend to be a tiger. :geauxtige
Seeing how great JA is playing makes me think what a great back Hester will be in the NFL. I bet he's a for sure 2nd round pick. :tigerhead
No it does not get any better than that. Yep it is Okie Hester is awesome. :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux:
Addai is on a different level than Hester. I'd love to see Hester in the NFL, but he'll never be a feature back. Maybe a fullback or situational running back. I love what Hester brings to the table and I'm happy for him as a senior, but I think some of the other backs project better into the NFL. I am really happy for Addai and all the players on the field in one of the NFL's biggest regular season games representing LSU.
Great day for LSU. Addai playing like the best of the best, and in my opiion is the MVP of the game. Kevin Faulk scores the game winning TD reception brilliantly. Jarvis Green forces the Manning fumble on 3rd down and seels the victory. Hats off to you former Tigers, and we're back in this BCS thing baby!!
to add to the great weekend. Bradie James sacks McNabb on nat tv, and Marcus Spears recovers the fumble.
Oh, and Laron Landry recovered a fumble that set the TD drive to put the skins ahead by 3 in the 4th quarter. The jets later scored a field goal to tie the game, the skins won in OT by a FG.
