son, you've got gumpitis.....evidently the more virulent strain.....i don't know of any way to break the bad news more gently....fried, you seem to be a gentle, sympathetic young lad who has somehow contracted the depression and severe angst that the gumps are infected with. I'm sure you know that the tide you is 3-13 in november the last 5 yrs. this is the cloud you are presently under. did you feed a gump? smile in one's direction? perhaps you responded gently to a bama fans idiot post....this nasty virus has, through the process of osmosis has latched on to you. the cure: go to the game friday and watch the crowd....not the game, the crowd, boy, THE CROWD!!! you will soon realize that these people are happy!!! and you should be too!!! BECAUSE YOU ARE IN THE GREATEST VENUE ON EARTH. AND THEY ARE HAPPY BECAUSE THEY ARE FANS OF THE LSU FIGHTING TIGERS...... if that doesn't work then send me a check for 4 mil....that'll change your attitude for a few weeks....
sounds like you are depressed. i suggest the love of a good woman, going back to video games in moderation, and taking up a hobby that makes you happy.
After struggling through the 90s, you picked a bad time to become apathetic. But it'll pass. Maybe you just need to take December off. Just make sure you're back first week in Jan! :geaux: :crystal:

I appreciate the advice- no, I didn't feed a gump, though I met one a few weeks back (therefore meeting my quota for the year). I'll take kcal's advice and head to the game Friday with an open heart. One of the most exciting I can remember... You've just become desensitized... I mean, after Florida, Auburn, and Bama... What can one consider exciting after seeing those?
