I've seen 3 out so far and our best ranking is 5th. That can't be good. Forget the human polls for now we are battling for the computers.
I read an article a few minutes ago, either at SI or ESPN, where their BCS expert said that LSU would be in the top 3 with the computers. IF that is anywhere near accurate, then something crazy would have to happen in the human polls, like USC #1 and the Sooners #2, to keep LSU out. The human polls are in, both with LSU #2. So I remain optimistic.
Sagarin has us at #2.... the BCS uses the ELO_Chess from his rankings ...whatever that is. He must have come up with that after 8 hrs of tailgating .... :geaux:
